Are you a senior level Structural or Civil Engineer looking for a permanent role and the opportunity to join a well established Design House consisting of Chartered Surveyors, Architects and Civil Engineers at a period of expansive growth and success. A background in structural engineering is the requirement and a strong understanding of the building services industry. In this role you will be working primarily on large scale Government and MOD buildings/projects and will be required to hold Security Clearance (not necessary to start) Location for this role is flexible – however for the benefit of the candidate and the client ideally you will be located in and around either Herefordshire or Monmouthsire. There is a wide range in terms of salary and will depend on level of experience. Ideally you will already be Chartered (ICE or StructE) or working towards Chartership. Below is a general (but not exhaustive) overview of the role. A bonus scheme is in place with the opportunity to grow and develop with funded learning. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates. Role & Responsibilities: * Develop scheme designs as required by the Directors, Principal and Senior engineers, using appropriate software * Assist in the delivery of projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations. * Work with CAD Technicians to produce relevant structural information. * Undertake structural engineering analysis and design under the supervision of senior engineers. * Attendance at project and design meetings and site visits. * Undertake condition surveys and write reports. * Keep all project related documentation in compliance with the Business Management systems, processes and procedures. * Communicate project’s critical issues in a timely manner to Directors and clients. * Mentor graduates and technicians. * Actively engage in CPD to maintain and facilitate personal and career development.
