Job Profile

A leading Independent Global Loss Adjuster with offices around the world providing Loss Adjusting, Claims and Risk Management Services who have a focus on Speciality Markets and Complex Commercial are now seeking an experienced Claims Technician to join their London Office which will be a home-based, remote working role with visits to the London office 3 to 4 times per year.  You will report to the Senior Claims Technician and be an active member of the support function providing support to Adjusters in the handling of Commercial property Claims. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Administration of new claims including receiving instructions, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files and undertaking risk screening and triaging
  • Work closely with Adjusters to assist with the investigations and validation enquiries
  • Manage the lifecycle of the claims to drive dairy management and support the management of claims through to conclusion
  • Oversee Adjuster caseloads
  • Liaise as required with the Insured, Insurers, Brokers and all relevant stakeholders, becoming a point of contact
  • Help with the production of technical reports for Adjusters
  • Ensure time reporting and billing is compliant
  • Invoicing
  • Any other ad hoc work as required

Applicant Requirements

About you:

  • Previous Claims handling experience including caseload management
  • Experience of handling domestic or commercial property claims
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability of establishing good working relationships with the team, colleagues and 3rdparties
  • Thrive in a high-pressured working environment
  • Be driven to meet and exceed targets
  • Industry qualifications or working towards
