Business Support Officer (Home First)
Location: Plough Lane – Hereford
Hours: 37.00 per Week
£18,328 – £20,906 per annum
Closing Date: 20th January 2023

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and flexible Business Support Officer to provide a high quality business support service to the Home First Urgent care and Reablement service in Hereford.

In this role you will be supporting the day to day running of the Urgent Care and Reablement Service. Home first is a fast paced and dynamic service, the Business Support Officer role is a crucial function within the team.

You’ll be assisting with answering the service phone, responding to queries, organising meetings, diary management; minute taking, updating our databases and any other regular administrative duties.

You will be the first point of contact for anybody making contact with the service and therefore you should have excellent telephone skills and uphold an empathetic and compassionate approach. A positive and forward thinking “can do” attitude is necessary for this position

You will be responsible for managing your own workload, therefore the ability to multitask and work to timescales is crucial. You will also need to have good and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries.

You should be able to work on your own initiative, with limited supervision on a day to day basis, and have a flexible approach to your work in order to deal with conflicting demands and tight deadlines. Good interpersonal skills are important for working with colleagues as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team. .

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft packages and administration experience would be essential for this position.
